Miss Libby Timmerman

Miss Libby is the owner and instructor of Heart and Sole! Her favorite styles to teach are musical theatre, lyrical, and tumbling! She has been dancing since the age of 3 and loves performing in the style of musical theatre! She has her bachelors degree in Performing Arts from Iowa State University and has performed in many shows from Cabaret to Peter Pan! She lives in Cherokee with her husband Mason and their two children Esther and Paul. She now loves sharing the love of dance with her daughter!

Miss Janae Casson

Miss Janae is another instructor at Heart and Sole. She has also been dancing since she was 3 years old. Her favorite styles to teach and perform are contemporary and lyrical. Janae has danced competitively since she was 7 years old in the style of lyrical, contemporary, tap, hip-hop, jazz, and everything in between.

Junior Instructors

Aubrey Kannegieter

Aubrey has danced at Heart and Sole since 2017. She recently graduated and has come back to teach! Aubrey loves working with some of our younger dancers and her favorite style to teach is hip-hop.

Abryl has danced at Heart and Sole since 2011! She is a senior in high school this year and has been teaching for the past 3 years. Abryl loves teaching hip-hop and jazz.
